This tool has been developed to support the modular XGT multitap range. The XGT’s coupler module can be removed to change a dB value or to replace a broken component. To ensure both the RF signals and power are maintained you need to bypass the multitap with this tool.
The special connectors are protected against short-circuiting with spring loaded plastic which prevent the inner conductor contacting anything that might cause a shock.
The connectors are easy to operate and very robust, withstanding at least 1,000 cycles without degradation. They have independently moving fastening rings and are right angled to support operation in small ducts or cabinets.
