The TMT-1400-4-xx has been developed based on microstrip
\ntechnology. This type of multitap combines flat frequency
\nresponses at the subscriber\u2019s wall outlet with equal return path
\nattenuation at each port.<\/p>\n
The typical frequency characteristic of the TMT-1400-4-xx,
\nIE: the higher the frequency the lower the tap loss, is the
\nopposite of that of the coaxial drop cable. Therefore this 1.4
\nGHz tilted multitap compensates for the coaxial drop cable
\nlosses, resulting in a very good flatness (in combination
\nwith an untilted distribution amplifier). Due to the innovative
\ndesign of this product utilising microstrip couplers there is
\nno passive intermodulation.<\/p>\n
The return path attenuation of the TMT-1400-4-xx offers equal
\nvalues for all ports. This is very important as conventional
\nmultitaps have different losses so return path levels differ
\ndepending on tap value.<\/p>\n
The TMT-1400-4-xx has a cast aluminium housing with a
\nspecial passivation layer and high quality paint coating to
\nprotect against corrosion. The backplate is also made of cast
\naluminium and is sealed to protect against moisture ingress.<\/p>\n
The F connectors are made of brass – to prevent cold flow –
\nwith a tin nickel plating to prevent CPD and are spaced 22 mm
\napart for optimum usability.<\/p>\n
The TMT-1400-4-xx can be mounted with front or down facing
\nports to give the most flexible installation. And is perfect for
\nlimited space deployments such as small cabinets and MDU
