Se puede utilizar como divisor de 2 o 3 v\u00edas y est\u00e1 optimizado para redes DOCSIS\u00ae 4.0. Evita la p\u00e9rdida que normalmente se habr\u00eda producido en la red, por lo que se logra la misma divisi\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al sin la p\u00e9rdida de inserci\u00f3n adicional que se obtendr\u00eda con un divisor tradicional. Esto ayuda con el funcionamiento de la red y aporta m\u00e1s flexibilidad al dise\u00f1ar el resto de la red en el futuro.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-691cf155 gb-headline-text\">El divisor activo no tiene funciones inteligentes; es un divisor de p\u00e9rdida cero, consume menos de 6 W y se puede usar en redes existentes y al actualizar a DOCSIS\u00ae 4.0. Esto es particularmente importante para DOCSIS de espectro extendido (ESD), ya que las p\u00e9rdidas del cable son mayores a 1,8 GHz que a 1,2 GHz.
